What now for business, as the dust settles after COP26?
Now that COP26 has finished and with 2021 coming to an end, we reflect on the fantastic work undertaken by some of the world’s most ambitious organisations over the last 12 months and look to the real action that is coming out of this landmark event.
Our CEO, Matt Pumfrey, sat down with Innovation Gateway partners and experts, NatWest Group, Tesco, and Bosch, for a senior exec chat – where they discussed their incredible journey to net zero, their reflection on COP26, and their take on how innovation and collaboration is helping them turn net zero strategy into deliverable, concrete actions for 2022.
In this panel, we address:
- Understanding the ‘impossible’ – Understanding where to start and the pace and scale of change required to deliver ambitious climate positive targets for 2022 and beyond.
- Closing the gap between ambition and execution – To be ‘fit’ for net zero (FIT4zero) by developing a realistic, actionable roadmap to streamline activities and innovations toward prioritised areas (with real-life examples mentioned).
- Moving faster together – Accelerate the speed of zero-carbon transition and unlock change faster by working together to share experience, best practices, and resources.
